Welcome to the 2017/2018 CSCMP Baltimore Roundtable

Dear Fellow Supply Chain Professional:

In 2017, CSCMP continues as the preeminent forum for furthering the Supply Chain field and linking professionals from all reaches of the industry.  Wherever you are in your career life cycle, opportunities abound to expand your Supply Chain knowledge and reach through CSCMP offerings such as the EDGE (formerly the Annual Global Conference) in Atlanta, GA on September 24-27. Also available is the annual State of Logistics Report®, CSCMP’s Supply Chain Quarterly periodical, numerous research offerings from the world’s top Supply Chain Management schools and more recently through the SCPro™ Certification program.

For most of us, the most visible and direct involvement with CSCMP is through the offerings of the local Roundtable. Since 1972, the Baltimore Roundtable has also been evolving with the Baltimore area Supply Chain / Logistics community, as regional logistics assets such as the Port of Baltimore, Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International Airport and a network of accessible interstate highways have combined to make Baltimore a thriving area for our field. Once again this season, the dedicated members of the Baltimore Roundtable Board have worked hard to provide events that provide greater knowledge of current and future industry trends as well as a chance to renew old acquaintances and make new ones. I encourage you to consider attending our season’s events and even more so to consider how a CSCMP membership can broaden your Supply Chain horizons.

On behalf of my colleagues on the CSCMP Baltimore Roundtable Board, we are excited about the upcoming season and look forward to seeing you throughout the year. Feel free to reach out to me or any of our Board members with any questions, comments or suggestions regarding our season’s events. We also encourage you to join the ‘CSCMP Baltimore Roundtable’ group on LinkedIn for updates and discussions during the season.

Tony Mansililo

President, CSCMP Baltimore Roundtable
